2. Course Objectives of Job Controller

Upon completing this course, trainees will be able to:

  • Plan, schedule, and control daily workshop operations efficiently.
  • Coordinate work between Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Department, Warranty Department, and Workshop Manager.
  • Allocate repair jobs according to technician skill levels and available resources.
  • Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and repair completion times.
  • Interpret technical repair information and diagnostic reports.
  • Prepare workshop reports, productivity analyses, and performance dashboards.
  • Safely move and road-test vehicles when required.
  • Use Dealer Management Systems (DMS), ERP software, Microsoft Office, and digital workshop tools.
  • Communicate professionally in English with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and international employers.
  • Apply global standards for workshop management, safety, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), labor utilization, workshop profitability, and customer satisfaction to support continuous improvement.
  • Safely drive and inspect customer vehicles during workshop operations and quality-control procedures.
  • Communicate confidently in English through meetings, emails, reports, presentations, and technical discussions with customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and international employers.
  • Apply international standards for workshop management, occupational safety, environmental protection, quality assurance, and ethical business practices.
