Course Objectives of Auto Diagnosis Technician
Upon completing this course, trainees will be able to:
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and network-related vehicle faults using systematic diagnostic procedures.
- Operate advanced diagnostic equipment including OBD-II scanners, OEM diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, pressure testers, smoke machines, and thermal cameras.
- Interpret Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), live data, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer service information.
- Diagnose gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles using manufacturer-approved procedures.
- Support workshop productivity through technical analysis, documentation, and repair verification.
- Safely road-test and evaluate vehicles before and after repairs.
- Use computer applications, workshop management systems, and manufacturer diagnostic software.
- Communicate technical information professionally in English with customers, technicians, manufacturers, and international employers.
- Apply international standards for workshop safety, quality assurance, environmental protection, and professional ethics.
